Kurzfassung:

Immer häufiger finden Diskussionen um gute Versorgung von Menschen in unterschiedlichsten Lebenslagen mit Blick auf die Quartiersgestaltung statt. Um dieses kleinräumige und bedarfsorientierte Denken aus der Perspektive der Hauswirtschaft zu erschließen, werden im Rahmen des Projektes „oikos-plus” beim Diakonischen Werk Württemberg Akteure aus der Quartiersarbeit explorativ zu ihren Angeboten und Bedarfen befragt und daraus Ansatzpunkte für professionelles hauswirtschaftliches Handeln entwickelt. Dabei wird deutlich, dass die Potenziale der Hauswirtschaft im Quartier noch in einigen Aspekten weiter ausgenutzt werden können und der ganzheitliche Ansatz dieser Profession zukünftig für ein umfassendes Quartiersmanagement genutzt werden kann.

Home economics in neighbourhood districts – new duties and opportunities for professional home economics

Abstract:

Discussions about how to supply people of all kinds of ages and situations as good as possible are more and more focussing on the arrangements of neighbourhood districts. Adding the perspective of professionally designed home economic services to this local and need-oriented thinking pattern is one aim of the project „oikos-plus“at Diakonisches Werk Württemberg. In an investigative design some players in neighbourhood districts are interviewed and asked about their supply and needs, so that some ideas on the further development of home economics in this setting could be outlined in this paper. It becomes clear, that there is a lot of potential to use the holistic thinking of professional home economics in favour of a comprehensive neighbourhood district management in the future.
