Kurzfassung:
Der vorliegende Beitrag befasst sich mit der Prävention von Mangelernährung in der ambulanten Pflege. Es wird untersucht, inwiefern dort der Expertenstandard „Ernährungsmanagement zur Sicherung und Förderung der oralen Ernährung in der Pflege“ umgesetzt werden kann. Auch in der ambulanten Pflege bildet der Expertenstandard eine standardisierte Vorgehensweise, um Mangelernährung zu identifizieren und daraufhin gezielt behandeln zu können. Allerdings sind ambulante Pflegedienste weder strukturell in der Lage, eine umfassende Ernährungsversorgung wie im Expertenstandard gefordert zu leisten, noch werden sie in der Regel dazu beauftragt. In der ambulanten Pflege übernehmen zum Großteil Angehörige die Ernährungsversorgung.

Suitability of the national care standard “nutrition management for protection and promotion of oral nutrition in nursing care” based on nursing services
Abstract:
This article deals with the prevention of malnutrition in outpatient care. It is investigated how far the national care standard named “nutrition management for protection and promotion of oral nutrition in nursing care” in outpatient care can be realized. Even in the outpatient care, the national care standard forms a standardized procedure in order to identify and treat malnutrition. However, nursing services are neither structurally able to execute a comprehensive nutritional support as required by the national standard nor are they commissioned to do so. Usually, the relatives of the outpatients take care of the food supply.
